Complications

I've decided that I don't like large bridal shows. 

And that's that. 

600 brides and their entourages together 

in one exhibit hall. 

Not good.

Most of the booths were difficult to 

get to, because of the mass of people

trying to look at everything 

and stopping in the rows...

Not for me. 

Private planning sessions with friends

to help coordinate decor.

Wedding blogs.

Online registries. 

DIY wedding books at BN.

That's more like it.

Not nearly as stressful and irritating. 

One more thing, please don't get

me a "Bride" tote. 

I don't like those.

Seriously...not cute. 

Maybe one with my initial or 

a plain one... but not one that says "bride".

Bridezilla moment over.  

I wanna rock!

We started registering for marriage goodies today!!

It's a bit overwhelming trying to figure out what
to organize for your house, including
the kitchen, living room, bedroom,
bathroom, and other rooms in our future home.

Thinking about if I wanted to color coordinate my dishware
with my bakeware and cookware...
and all those other wares...

Sheesh.

I did think about the scene from 27 Dresses
when they were registering for things
for what's-her-face's sister
and the guy just started registering for random weird items.

Good scene.

The limbo of the holidays

I have a few more days until I have to get back to 

work, but I do believe that I have accomplished a ton

this past week. 

For example, on Tuesday (aka yesterday), my mom, 

my cousin, and my MoH went to David's Bridal 

to search for my perfect wedding dress. 

Let me tell you, my dress is a-may-za-zing. 

However, I can't show you. 

Jesse reads this blog. 

Haha.

I have also chosen some possible dates

and colors for the big day. 

Hopefully, I can book my venue

before it's taken!

Ahhh!

If it is, my day will be RU-EENED!

Not really. 

Although, I would be terribly disappointed. 

I've got some awesome plans for Capitol Park.

Today, I chatted with some of my bridesmaids 

about the possibilities that are developing for the engagement

party and the main event. 

It's gonna be sooo good. 

I'm so thrilled to have such awesome bridesmaids.

I'm looking forward to my mom meeting Jesse's parents 

tomorrow as well. That should be interesting.
